The
tables are turned when guests go behind the scenes for a cooking
class at Bayfield's Wild Rice Restaurant. Check into your
Bayfield B&B accommodations on Tuesday night. Grab a light
dinner on your own; then head to the Wild
Rice Restaurant for a “Meet the Chefs” reception.
This informal gathering allows you to greet fellow cooking
class participants and ask questions of the chefs.
After breakfast at your Inn, spend Wednesday touring and working
in Executive Chef, Jim Webster’s state-of-the-art kitchen
on the shores of Lake Superior. No experience necessary. All
skill levels welcome.
Preparation and cooking demonstrations are geared to help
you utilize the best of the fresh ingredients offered throughout
the seasons. Chef Webster’s food knowledge and step-by-step
demonstration of technical skills such as cleaning, cutting,
preparing ,and plating help demystify the preparation of a
multi-course meal. 
Wine selection and wine-food pairings are emphasized during
this day-long workshop. Once the aprons are cast-off, sit
down to enjoy the four-course gourmet dinner you helped create!
Sip wine and critique your work.
